DHL - Installation
Add and install the plugin
Go to WordPress → Plugins → Add New
Click Upload Plugin and then browse to the plugin zip-file on your computer.
Install and activate the plugin
Enter licens key and set up the plugin
Go to WooCommerce → Settings → DHL Shipping
- Licens key – Enter the license key that you received from us when you purchased the plugin.
- DHL costumer number – Enter PostNord Customer Number
- DHL Label Papersize – Enter the size of you lable
- Auto book shipment on Order Status – Enter a status if you want the shipment to be booked automatically
- DHL Parcels – Enter the number of parcels per order/per article
- DHL Parcel Contents – Enter a short description of the content, for example clothes.com - clothes
- Debug log – Check to enable the debug log
Enter Details for senders
Go to WooCommerce → Settings → DHL Shipping → Sender
All information needs to be filled in, but VOEC and Eori can be left blank if you do not want to generate customs documents.
Shipping Method Settings
Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping → Shipping zones
- Click the zone you want to edit
- Select the shipping method you want to connect to DHL, click edit
- You should now see a list on DHL settings for the selected method
DHL Shipping Options
- DHL Service - The service that should be used when syncing shipment to DHL
- DHL ServicePoints - If this is checked a dropdown for pickuplocations will be displayed
- DHL Package Code - Enter package type
DHL Addons
- Addon-on Service - Notification by Letter - Check to send notification by letter to the costumer
- Addon-on Service - Doorstep Delivery - Check to add DoorStep Delivery
- Addon-on Service - Green Freight - Check to add Green Freight
- Addon-on Service - Delivery with Id control - Check to add ID control
Generate customs documents
Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping → Shipping zones
- Click on the zone you want to edit
- Select the DHL shipping method you want to generate customs documents, click edit
- Scroll down to DHL Customs
- DHL Import/Export Type - Set the import/export type
- Create a Customs Invoice - Check to activate Customs Invoice
- Customs Invoice type - Set the invoice type
- Procedure Code - Add the Procedure Code
- Terms of Sale - Set the terms on the invoice
- Addon-on Service - Customs handling - Full service - Check to add Full service
- Addon-on Service - Customs handling - Standard - Check to add standard
- Terms of Sale - Set the terms on the invoice
Settings on each product to generate customs documents
Go to WordPress → Products
- Click the product you want to edit
- Scroll down to Product data → Shipping
- DHL Tariff Code - Enter the hs tariff code that applies to your product
- DHL Tariff Description - Enter a description of the product
- DHL Source Country - Enter the country of origin of the product, ie where it is manufactured
